The Roskell Piano Trio had its sold-out debut in 2011 at historic Sutton House in London, where they have been ensemble-in-residence ever since.
The Trio has a wide-ranging repertoire of trios and duos, from Mozart and Beethoven, through the Romantics to the twenty-first century. Recent additions to their repertoire include Beethoven Beethoven Op. 97 ‘Archduke’, Shostakovich No. 1, Schumann No. 2 Op. 80 and Schubert No. 2.
Outside of the Roskell Piano Trio, the three have their own solo, orchestral, chamber music and teaching engagements. Penelope is a soloist, professor of piano at Trinity College of Music and author of the Complete Pianist (Peters Edition); Ruth teaches and performs with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Heather is artistic director of Wintertide Music Festival in Newfoundland and 60min Concerts in London.
